Slippery Nylon Leaf Spring Eye Bushing

Smash the tires not your bushings! You have traction bars and sticky tires but have you done anything with those squishy spring eye bushings? This set replaces the front rubber eye bushing on the rear leaf springs for better launch reaction. Made of self-lubricating nylon, they are rock solid, much firmer than stock rubber or urethane bushings but will not seize up like metal units. There is no metal to metal contact so there is no squeaking like you get from the common urethane/steel collar style. Some make these out of Delrin because it is easy to machine but that does not make it the right material for the job. Nylon has a natural toughness and abrasion resistance that makes it ideal for this application. These are a good compliment to our E-Z Frame Kit and fit both Firebird and Camaro ('67 - '81). Bolt kit included because original bolts are often corroded into place. Instructions included.

No, its not Pacman. It's simple device to help make your traction bars more effective. The closer the snubber is to the spring the better the bars work but you can't drive on the street without some some gap. Loosen the snubber locknut and the snubber slides in and out with ease. Put them in at the track then take them back out when you get home. Made from 1/4" thick aluminum.
