TRACK 407 is proud to announce our new line of harmonic dampers from BHJ DYNAMICS. BHJ dampers are high quality and made in the USA. The rubber ring of an old damper will harden, possibly slip and go out of round creating an out of balance condition. Quality is so good on the BHJ unit they measure less than .001" of runout on both the outer diameter and outer face! Will your 30 year old factory damper do that? I dont think so! BHJ make these on the tight side to assure a good press (.001-.0015" recomended) this means if your crank snout has never been reground or polished you may have to have this damper honed by a machine shop to achive the right fit. Although we only stock the steel hub pontiac unit shown we can get you a great price on any BHJ product.
